LEADERS ARE LEARNERS
What NCIT is all about…
IMPROVING YOUR LEADERSHIP, COMMUNICATION & TEACHING SKILLS
After you check out, you will find a link on the Thank you page to take the online course at Taekwondo University and then to the exam. Please complete these before the live class so we can focus more on the practical side of developing your leadership and teaching skills. Bring your portfolio, Force of Taekwondo textbook, and the printout of your exam scores with you.
The Pathway to Mastery
It has been said that Taekwondo is a “way of life.” When you truly understand the value, this is true.
The U.S. Chung Do Kwan Association has two distinct paths for our student’s growth
- Rank promotions (personal development)
- Instructor Degrees (relational development)
The Path begins with the National Certified Instructor Courses.
There are six core modules to be accomplished in every NCIT course:
- Technique – Correct application and the theory of why we teach a specific way
- Developing Teaching Skills
- Personal Development
- Communication Skills
- Philosophy
- Exam
The National Certified Instructor Training courses are not designed to be a onetime event. In order to get the most out of the course, and become a truly effective Instructor, you must take NCIT 101 and 102 whenever available.
